Hey there! Our lengthy NY trip is behind us and, as of late Saturday afternoon, we are H-O-M-E! Phew!
We had an awesome time in NY, but absolutely overdid it. Some moments were relaxing and just plain wonderful, but there were many a day that our better judgment escaped us…and we later paid for it. Payment = toddler meltdowns, headaches, and lots of head shaking. CHA-ching. We were spent!
We’re talking almost 20 days away from home.
Did I mention we drove?!
With each passing year, we get a little smarter about how to approach, plan, and orchestrate the trip. With all of that said, it still knocked us on our bums and left me crying (yelling, begging?) UNCLE. Will we do it again next year, not a clue. I will not be pregnant but we will have an almost 4 year old and a 5 month old. We shall see! Thankfully, we have lots of time to figure it out.
Negative nelly attitude aside, we made many great memories with family and friends that are family by choice. We came, we conquered, and we lost some years off of our lives. All worth it!!!
Our trip to NY in numbers (get ready for a photo dump!)…

To all the family and friends that we didn’t get to see — we still love you! Come and visit us! Maybe next year! Maybe not! Love you…mean it!!!
Check back tomorrow to vote on this baby’s gender. We find out THIS WEEK! Give me 100 votes and maybe I’ll let y’all in on our little secret…hehe. I probably won’t be able to keep it from you for too, too long either way ;) xoxo
