CURRENT STATS
Percentage Cooked: 95%!
Baby Size: Over 6 lbs.?
Countdown to Baby: Less than 2 weeks (268 days down, 12 to go!)
Symptoms: Just about everything is sore.
Sleep has actually gotten a little bit better, shockingly.
I’m super hungry all of the time. See wait gain…not good.
Hourly bathroom breaks.
Swollen feet and fingers, but now my hands/arms fall asleep quickly!
Vivid dreams – some related to labor and delivery, but some not.
LOTS of movement and hiccups from Baby, mostly at night.
We’re having cranky moments (all 3 of us).
We’re ready for ya, Baby!!!
Cravings: Oreos, ice cream, fruit, Root Beer, I’m gonna throw you for a loop here - fish & chips!
Weight Gain: 35 lbs. as of last Wednesday…ugh, enough with the weight
Related Purchases: Some baby book items – yes, I’m attempting to make my own. Otherwise, we are all set with baby items…as far as we know!
Fear of the Week: I have 2 Dr.’s appointments this week…I’m thinking we should have our hospital bags in the car, just in case?!
Relief of the Week: We get to see the baby this week – we’re going to have an ultrasound. Yay!
I’m thankful that we’ve made it this far in the pregnancy. Baby T. is already so strong!
Randomness: I’m sick of ALL of my clothes!

Neighbor: “Oh, wow, when are you due?”
Me: “A couple more weeks!”
Neighbor: “My co-worker is due right around you, then.”
Me: “Oh fun – how’s her belly? Is she ready to go, like me?” – ::for the record – dumb question::
Neighbor: “Well, she’s really petite – so her belly’s huge!”
Me: “OH, GOTCHA.” {insert sad face}
Me [after Scott and I got into the car]: “Um, I used to be ‘petite’ – what the heck!!!”
I mean, I’m not skinny anymore – but I am still only 4’11″. Geesh! Throw a pregnant girl a bone…or at least an Oreo.

Your neighbor’s quote is too funny! I was actually going to message you about what happened to me during my prenatal massage before seeing that because I felt like it sounded like something you would blog about, but now I definitely have to share…
The woman came to pick me up and bring me to the room and was staring at me then looking back at the pillow that would allow me to safely lay on my stomach. Then all of a sudden she goes, “oh… hmmm… wow, your belly’s big! Umm.. okay, well let’s try… geez you’re belly is big.” Thanks lady, I get it.. I’m having a baby in 3 weeks, obviously my belly is big!
Sorry, a rant, but I thought you could relate as I’ve read some similar things happening to you! Good luck in your final days!!!!
Erin – people have a hard time with knowing what to say – it’s hilarious. (Well, sometimes!) Yes, a big belly at end of a pregnancy is inevitable in order to have a big, healthy baby – it’s just how it goes!!! I bet you have people gawking at you whenever you’re out places, like maybe you should just be at home waiting with a phone in your hand. I know I’ve been getting that look! You look great and I can’t wait to hear the news that you’re little girl is here. Tick tock, tick tock! =)
You look great Sarah! and ARE petite. Your good sense of humor will get you through these last days before your baby arrives. It won’t be long now!!

Uh….please re-read my comment on the boy/girl voting entry (7/16?) I think it was something like “teeny tiny petite frame” when referencing YOU!! Hang in there! And I like to think about labor this way…..yes there IS some pain (scary word, I know) but it’s productive pain. But it’s nice that it comes and goes and isn’t constant. AND the most important part….you get the biggest prize of your life at the end!!
I know, Diane! Bring on the pain…so long as I get a healthy baby as a result. But, start it up already!!!

I think you look great for 37 weeks! And, my guess for the birth date is next Monday – 6 days from today! So excited for you and your hubby – thrilled that you have had a healthy and strong pregnancy:) Can’t wait to see baby T!

Happened to read in US that she’s due in Aug, so one-up that girl!!
