Points for the North √
– MUCH better radio. MUCH! More stations, more variety, more of it all.
– The cheese factor of the TV news anchors is on the
wild mild side. Let’s say mozzarella (NY) vs. baby swiss (SC). This is a terrible analogy because both cheeses are yummy, depending on my mood. No matter my mood, the news anchors up here are just better. Sorry…the truth hurts! (Shoot, now I’m hungry!)
Remember Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy? Hilarious!

Points for the South √
– The nose was a little itchy for a hot second in Charleston, months ago. My allergies up here in NY have been completely out of control! Scott’s too! I’m carrying around tissues with me and taking allergy meds daily…no joke.
– The traffic in the South is tolerable and casual. Sure people complain about the traffic on Highway 17, but boy has the Northern traffic put my 17 traffic complaints in check! The traffic in the North is stressful and off the chain [that was a Scott thesaurus suggestion for “out of control” – haha, thanks babe]. I feel like I’m driving in a video game…and I have always been more of a regular Mario over Mario Cart kinda girl. I’m pretty sure the traffic hasn’t changed dramatically within the last year. My perspective surely has, though.

I will continue to keep score…probably forever!!!
p.s. Starting to feel majorly homesick. My skin misses the sun, my hair misses the humidity (believe it or not), my life misses Charleston! We’re missing Spikey’s 12 week birthday today. Sorry little buddy…Mommy and Daddy still love you! Has it rained yet down there? I hope Spikey’s not all shriveled up when we see him next!
p.s.s. I need some ideas for the 4th of July in Chucktown. Give it to me, people!
